Brian Bell and Raquel Figlo’s love story is one of perfect timing, missed timing, and the undeniable pull of two souls meant to find their way back to each other. They first met six years ago through a mutual friend, Neil McCurry—who now proudly stands as best man. At the time, Raquel was deep in her world of music publicity, working PR for the KISS kickoff party, KruiseFest. In a moment that feels almost fated in hindsight, she casually asked Neil if he knew any successful, handsome men. Neil smiled and introduced her to Brian Bell—and just like that, the spark was lit. Their first date was nothing short of cinematic. Brian flew Raquel to New York City, where they met for lunch at Tavern on the Green, surrounded by the magic and energy of the city. That evening, they went to see Morrissey—setting the tone for what would become a true rock ’n’ roll romance. Over the next six months, Brian swept Raquel off her feet with unforgettable adventures: glamorous weekends in Las Vegas, a breathtaking helicopter ride over the Strip, and even the legendary KISS Kruise. Every moment together felt electric, joyful, and full of possibility. But life, as it often does, had its own plans. Though their timing wasn’t right back then, their connection never truly faded. Brian gifted Raquel a Cartier Love bracelet during their early days—a symbol of what they shared—and over the years, it remained a quiet reminder of a love that never fully let go. Even as time passed, they thought of each other often. Raquel’s friends knew his name well; Brian Bell was a chapter she never stopped believing might one day continue. Fast forward six years, and fate stepped in—this time through social media. One night, Raquel noticed that Brian had viewed her Facebook stories. Then again. She smiled to herself and made a promise: If he looks one more time, I’m reaching out. He did. The next morning, Raquel sent a message that changed everything:“Hey… so much time has passed. I’ve missed you. If you’re single, call me. I’m single.”Brian called. And that was it. From that moment in mid-July 2025, they’ve been inseparable. They spoke every single day, rediscovering each other with deeper honesty, maturity, and appreciation for what they had always shared. One month later, they reunited in Las Vegas—their favorite place—and it felt like coming home. By August, they both knew: this was real, this was lasting, and this was love. Brian showed his commitment by gifting Raquel two promise rings. And in true Raquel fashion—bold, heartfelt, and certain—she said, “We should get married.” Though she technically proposed first, Brian, ever the gentleman, made sure to do it “the right way.” On September 14, 2025, at the same Paris restaurant, the "Eiffel Tower" they had visited six years earlier, Brian officially proposed—with paparazzi, photos, and video capturing a moment that felt straight out of a movie. Since that day, there hasn’t been a single one they haven’t spoken. Their lives have blended seamlessly—family trips to Mexico with Raquel’s family, and a magical Christmas and New Year’s in London with Brian and his sons. Together, they’ve built not just a romance, but a partnership grounded in love, laughter, mutual respect, and shared dreams. Raquel, a powerhouse in PR, and Brian, a master of marketing, are truly a perfect match. They love the same music, make each other laugh endlessly, and support one another completely. Theirs is a story of champagne wishes and rock ’n’ roll dreams—a love that waited, returned, and arrived exactly when it was meant to. Dana Point Marina Inn is located in Dana Point, a 10-minute walk from Doheny State Beach and 16 miles from Fashion Island. Officiating the ceremony is Raquel’s longtime friend David Ellefson, best known as the co-founding bassist of the iconic thrash metal band Megadeth. A defining force in heavy metal for decades, Ellefson helped shape the band’s unmistakable sound while touring the world across multiple eras. Years ago, Raquel asked Dave if/ and when she ever met the love of her life, would he officiate her wedding. True to his word, he kept that promise — a moment that means the world to her as a lifelong Megadeth fan and dear friend. As the ceremony begins and Raquel walks down the aisle, the music will be led by the electrifying Celebrity Band fronted by Todd Kerns.
